Partners in Mindfulness was started by two long time mindfulness practitioners, and friends, as a platform through which to offer workshops, contemplative consultations and coaching to communities and organizations interested in integrating mindfulness. We offer mindfulness practices that are applicable in daily life to everyone, from people and organizations who have no experience with mindfulness practice to long-term practitioners.
We have had the unique opportunity to work and train closely with the community of Zen Master and Nobel Peace Prize Nominee Thich Nhat Hanh. Through this work and training we have connected with diverse populations around the world. This has included facilitating workshops for corporate executives in North America, educators in Europe and young adults in Asia. Through these experiences we have discovered that human beings everywhere are in need of daily practices to support their personal and professional well-being.
Our offerings are informed by the teachings and practice of Thich Nhat Hanh. Our workshops range from introductory hands on trainings, to in-depth applications of mindfulness in business, health and education based settings.
From our own personal experience, we know how challenging it can be to find the time to take care of yourself and those around you. We work closely with each community we encounter to design programs that address the challenges of their daily lives. For us, offering mindfulness trainings also allows us to practice right livelihood by spending each day doing something we love.
We have a sliding scale model that accommodates the realities of each partners's resources. Through the support provided by private and corporate clients we are able to offer programs at an affordable rate for nonprofits and education-based groups.
